Completed as part of a studio assignment for The Classical Studio at the Yale School of Architecture, the Kintsugi Lamp is part of a meditation on preservation and creation. The project was inspired by Guy Keulemans’s “The Geo-cultural Conditions of Kintsugi”, who explores the symbiosis between natural disasters and the process of rebuilding.
